Profile & Preferences: Information you provide on your user profile, including your role (buyer or dealer), dealer application details, and any preferences you set within the platform.

Transaction & Wallet Data: We maintain records of your deposits, Account Balance, transactions, down payments, reservations, and purchase history. This information is linked to your account and used to facilitate marketplace transactions.

Listing & Vehicle Data: If you list a vehicle for sale, we collect the details you provide, including make, model, year, mileage, VIN, condition, photos, price, and location (city, state, and zip code).

Usage & Technical Data: We automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring URLs, and timestamps of your interactions with the platform.

Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:

Consent: Where you have provided clear, affirmative consent to process your data, such as for location-based features or non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Performance of a Contract: Processing necessary to provide the services you requested, including account management, transactions, and messaging.

Legal Obligation: Processing necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes.

Legitimate Interests: Processing necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention, security, platform improvement, and dispute resolution, where those interests are not outweighed by your privacy rights.

How We Share Your Information

Payment Provider: We share necessary transaction data with our third-party payment provider to process deposits, down payments, and refunds. The provider handles your card and bank details directly; we do not store full payment instrument details.

Other Users: Information you provide in vehicle listings (including photos, location, and contact preferences) is visible to other users. Messages you send through the platform are visible to the recipient.

Service Providers: We engage trusted third-party service providers to support platform operations, such as hosting, analytics, email delivery, and customer support. These providers access your data only as necessary to perform their functions and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

Legal & Safety: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government regulation, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, the safety of any person, or to investigate fraud or illegal activity.

Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership.

We do not sell your personal information to third-party advertisers or data brokers.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Account data is retained for the life of your account. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law (such as for tax or financial records).

Transaction records, dispute files, and compliance-related data may be retained for up to seven (7) years following the relevant transaction or event, as required by applicable financial and tax regulations.

Listing data is retained while a listing is active and for a reasonable period after it is removed, for audit and dispute-resolution purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews.

Payment data is handled exclusively by our PCI-DSS compliant payment provider. We never store your full card number, bank account details, or other sensitive payment instrument information.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no system can be guaranteed completely secure. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and regulators as required by applicable law.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to authenticate your session, remember preferences, analyze platform usage, and improve our services.

Essential cookies are required for core functionality such as login, wallet access, and secure checkout. These cannot be disabled if you wish to use the platform.

Analytics and functional cookies help us understand how the platform is used and improve features. You may disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings, though some functionality may be affected.

Our payment provider may set its own cookies to process transactions securely. We do not control third-party cookies; their use is governed by their respective privacy policies.
